Air Jordan III “U.S. Border Patrol” Customs By JWDanklefs
August 9th, 2012 by John K. | 16 comments

Here’s a re-done Air Jordan III by sneaker customizer JWDanklefs, whose notable works include the Air Max Light ‘Homegrown’ and Air Max 90 ‘Stash’; in conjunction with this Saturday’s ‘Kickin’ it at the Border’ sneaker event in Laredo, TX, JWDanklefs uses the United States Border Patrol as the inspiration for this custom, using the Border Patrol Agent’s uniform-specific colors as well as the official patch logo on the tongue. It’s clear that this custom sneaker falls right in with the culture of Laredo, TX, so check out the additional images as well as details to this Saturday’s Kickin’ it at the Border event below and let us know what you think.

This is pretty messed up but I don't see it as racist. The event was held in Laredo, Texas and it's called Kickin' It On The Border. But hey, maybe I don't feel the pain because I'm not connected with that situation
Stealth iii's spray painted green? I'm missing the custom part of these I guess? Other than that fancy patch glued on the tounge what's the artistic value here?
I live in Tucson, AZ and you'd be surprised at how many Hispanics work for border patrol/ ICE. People pass judgment so quickly especially if they don't even live in a border state. With that said, these actually look pretty decent.
@bienvenido yea man,thats pretty sad...like george lopez says about them put0s..."FUKN SELLOUTS!!!"
@bienvenido
Nice concept.
I guess the brothas didn't like the KKK theme.
proof black folk don't like Hispanics rockin j's
Love em. Migra 3s!
NO MESSICANS GONNA BE ROCKIN THESE
@CC221 thats the point
I didnt know MJ signed The US Border Patrol to Team Jordan lmao!
This is highly racist but pretty funny, nice imagination and pretty good customs
Now this is funny as hell lmao but racist at the same time.
would be alrite if it didn't have that wackass border patrol logo
These are tough!
