Aside from their popular white leather styles affectionately known as ‘dad shoe’ defaults, New Balance is best known for applying grey suede and mesh to their no-nonsense high-comfort runners. We see a shift to a different neutral tone on this quartet from NB Japan, and though its pack name might have you imagining the shared versatility of grey and beige, that name is actually a reference to a totally undyed and unbleached cloth. The New Balance ‘Greige’ collection brings together the familiar New Balance 574 with 1400s, ML71 trainers and H710 boots in a sandy brown whose tonal appeal is intended to reflect the raw yet refined untreated look that’s become so popular in a variety of design disciplines of late. Have a closer look after the jump, let us know what you think of this new neutral style and stick with Sneaker News to see if they ever make it stateside. via Espionage
