While the greater American public tends to get a bit squirmy over increased airport security because of the whole “encroaching on civil liberties” thing, sneaker fiends have an extra reason to sweat right before we reach that metal detector before a flight. Kanye West gets acclimated with that in this short clip, hitting JFK with Kim Kardashian and forced to run his prized Nike Air Yeezy 2′s through the x-ray machine. You might panic a bit as they nearly get smashed by another piece of luggage, but we promise it ends well. Funny video though. To a regular person, he or she would have flipped out in their ''Yeezys'' got bruised or something. Kanye didn't even take a second look at his shoes after he put them in the tray... They're just shoes, people! Overhyped, overpriced, and ugly!!!

To Kanye, the shoes are worth pocket change, but to the public are worth an arm and a leg. And the reason for that, is ''hype''... Geez people, they're just shoes and they're ugly!
@gotjordansYea but he didn't pay a cent for them, and since he created them in the first place he would never have to. It would be a little different for any regular person who actually has a pair. Come on people they're just $2500 shoes. I'd like to see you not sweat it if you were in the same shoes. punner
