Custom sneakers have been all the rage thanks to the handy artistry of sneakerheads around the globe. adidas, on the other hand, took matters into its own hands as the three-stripes brand commissioned artist and designer Nasir Mazhar to re-fashion the adidas adiZero Prime SP track spike for Yohan Blake, the Jamaican Gold Medal speedster that brought home the Olympic Games’ top prize for his home country Jamaica. Using Blake’s nickname ‘The Beast’ as the inspiration, Mazhar and his crew transformed the Prime SP from a sleek, slimmed down, and unassuming track spike into a fear-inducing sculpture that would make Jeremy Scott’s most outrageous concept look tame in comparison. A full video of the the entire custom process is below, so take a look and let us know what you think!
