Air Jordan IV “Red Suede”

At the stroke of midnight, Sneaker News gave you a look at some sick Air Jordan IV PEs/Special Editions in the possession of Jordan Brand athlete Carmelo Anthony. One of the three that stood out was the ‘red suede’ colorway, so we simply could not resist taking a closer look. The obviously similarities to 2009′s Air Jordan V ‘Raging Bull’ are quite clear, and considering our readers voted that particular shoe the best non-OG Air Jordan in history, these Air Jordan IV ‘Red Suede’ PEs would definitely be among the best – that is, if they released. There’s still plenty of time for Jordan Brand to pull the trigger and drop an outstanding gem like this, so keep your fingers crossed and we’ll keep you updated if anything surrounding this or any of Melo’s other PEs unfolds.

Yeah I would be willing to pay more for this as a "Toro Bravo" pack than I would the spizikes coming up. Those 4's could make up for the crap quality of the past couple 4's... Military blue 4's and Fire Red 4's the leather was lacking quality but I think its more than likely because it's hard to get good leather for all 3 releases and the white cement 4's were put up front and the quality of the leather went down from there. SOLUTION: the infrared 4's are a different material of course but release something for us to look forward to please!! With these they could be made of suade and nubuck and would be much easier to produce quality shoes when switching up the materials. Instead of the same white leather toe box that has gone down and down and down in quality likely because of availability of excellent leather. I am looking forward to the 13's next year. Tumbled leather is hard to screw up :)
@BigDMoney208 gonna be honest with you man. the leather quality is specifically chosen, so the cost of the shoe is predetermined. Judging from the Intl 2008 True Blue 3 I have with the recent 3's and the 4's - they don't give a crap for retros. Nothing is changing.
On the other hand...
Look at any spizike, fusion, performance jordan, or 20XX marquee Jordan. The quality difference is dramatic and you can just see/touch with a simple flex of the uppers.

These are the best Jordan retro i've seen in over a decade. So im assuming they will never release. JB keep the good and release the bad.

Incredible, i love red shoes. Love my red suede 5z, but these may be nicer. Would love a release and why not? Like it was said below, Valentines day 2013?
