Kid Cudi, Mac Miller, DMX & Sheek Louch On-Stage @ Rock the Bells
August 27th, 2012 by Brendan Dunne | 22 comments

One of these things is not like the other. The latest iteration of the epic Rock the Bells hip-hop festival made its way to Mountain View, CA, over the weekend. As is to be expected when so many hip-hop heavyweights converge at one place in one time there was no shortage of on-feet sightings of all sorts. DMX showed up with an outfit channeling his days of yore, Timberlands and all. Fellow former Ruff Ryder Sheek Louch was also present, albeit with a more contemporary selection in the form of the recently released Air Jordan VII ‘Olympic’. Comparative youngin’s Mac Miller and Kid Cudi rounded out the group in the Air Jordan VII ‘Bordeaux’ and the Air Jordan VIII ‘Aqua’. Stay with us after the jump for this photo recap and stick with Sneaker News should more shots pop up featuring sneaker sightings from Rock the Bells.

tight ass pants B....FOH! he looks like a bitch!
Thats it... I'm UNdeadstockin my aquas tomorrow
I find the Bordeaux 7s extremely hard to match, but there such a fresh shoe...
Cudi's pants are disturbing. But his shoe game has always been right even though he's rocked the Aqua VIIs a ton of times
@newsouth912 I agree my dude, his fits are sick but the damn near skin tight pants have me fearing i might see something that cant be unseen.
I meant VIIIs
@newsouth912 Lmao, hater.
Mac Miller and Kid Cudi at 'Rock The Bells'? The quality of the talent is slipping. In the words of Danny Brown, "(Mac Miller.) He's the worst guy around". And honestly, again as in the case of The Game, these guys ain't bringing NO heat. They got the same joints that every other little twerp sneakerhead has, they just get them earlier. I am not impressed.
@Fosterakahunter I can't believe u just put 'Cudi' and 'quality of talent is slipping' in two sentences that are connected... I'll admit, i didn't like his WZRD collaberation but he's still the man.
@BallHard15 I like rap, not cats 1/2-assing rap. Cudi is talented for what it is he does (I liked his 2nd LP quite a bit more than the first), but Rock The Bells was conceived as a rap showcase. And, Mac Miller is just wack, I don't care whatdafuxx MURS says.
@Fosterakahunter @BallHard15 I'm not a Mac Miller fan, im just defending Cudi lol
@Fosterakahunter
huh no heat old school caddy cudi killed that inacud on the way n mac been touring but macadellic was sick but this is a sneaker site so lets not get into that.... now i do believe mac miller n kudi have wayy more heat than what they showed after all i dont kno any twerps with both pairs of yeezys or any twerps that bought 2 pairs of galaxys
DMX keeping it real, unlike all these bandwagon wannabe sneakerhead rappers.

1 of the main reasons the f--king shoegame is F--ked up!!! damn you pop culture...!! having ALL these little 15-20yr old wannabe sneakerheads jump on the bandwagon...
