Nike Air Max Challenge 1

Andre Agassi’s Air Tech Challenge series has still yet to be usurped as the most popular ‘technical’ tennis sneaker of all time, but after a few retro releases and a hybrid style, we haven’t seen the ATC series utilized as extensively as some of the Swoosh’s other early ’90s standouts. But there’s no way you can look at this new style pictured above and think of anything else, as the unique ATC III and IV colors and flames have been ported over to a silhouette more in step with today’s Grand Slam champions. The Nike Air Max Challenge is somewhere in the neighborhood of ATC x Courtballistec, a Max Air-cushioned lowtop that looks like it could take on the world’s best at the drop of a mullet. Have a closer look, let us know how these compare to all the classic Agassis as well as Rafael Nadal’s signature series, and grab yours today from TeniszPlaza or one of the select US tennis retailers who also have them in stock.
