i understand why people buy to resell - if you're 16, it's probably a better way to make $ than working a minimum wage job, but why do people buy them if they don't like the quality or look? you buy them to wear them. the fact a shoe is hyped makes me like it less, because then everyone else is wearing them.

I'm trying to decide between these and the Fire Red 5's coming out in January. I hate that the 5's will yellow but $185 for a shoe that hasn't changed since it's last release in 2008 doesn't seem worth it.

I don't really like these shoes and I know some people might get mad over this post, but I'm buying two pairs, so the first can pay for the second. Since I have a hookup, it's a guarantee that I'll get at least two pairs. Maybe someone would trade me a pair of these for some 5s that I don't have yet. Or I'll just make a huge profit by reselling.

Its a shame that the game has been reduced to people complaining about the resell before they can even get to enjoy the preview of a shoe... Of course not everyone will get a pair because almost everyone will want a pair... I have a feeling JB will overstock these as much as possible and also have a potential restock shortly after the initial release... So as much as resellers will get their 30+ pairs... I hope everyone else can land their single pair as well...

Just to caveat, we would not be mad at all at you guys if you did not post these anymore until they released. I think they are aware of these in Afghanistan and Iraq where they have no chance of getting these. I can see the headlines: "senseless violence as consumers "Bled for Breds"

I have no issue with the price. Sure around $200 w tax for a shoe is a lot, but if designer jeans go for $100 then why can't the premier name in kicks sell its most hyped shoe for $200 when shoes are worth much more than pants? My issue is the lines. I'm not filthy rich, but i work hard and a week of my life is worth more than $200, as is a week in most people's lives. If you think it's a rip off don't buy it.

I just rocked my CDP's today, and here's a fact to the people that say they suck: aside from the peeling they are fine quality wise and are still holding up! Ill be passing on these, but u already know the release date is gonna be 12/23
