Earlier this month Sneaker News showed you a special non-Retro tribute from Jordan Brand to two of its signature athletes – Chris Paul and Carmelo Anthony. The Jordan Flight 45 High Max was the product in question, but what chatter may have stirred up from those releases probably involved Dwyane Wade – or better yet, how Dwyane Wade wasn’t involved. That’s because with Wade’s apparent end in his Jordan Brand contract arriving at the first of September, releasing a Wade tribute would’ve been rather pointless, although we hope Wade sticks with the Brand and continues what he set out to do when he first joined in 2009. Regardless, this Yellow/Red colorway does point to the Miami Heat colors, but without any Wade designation on the shoe, we can only accept these as a GR release. Expect ’em at Jordan Brand retailers this September.
