It’s an easier observation to note that Ronnie Fieg loves him some old school suede runners, but when you look closer, you realize his most significant contribution is adding extra attention to relatively obscure masterpieces. And the quality has arguably never been higher than on his latest tag team effort, this one reaching far outside the sneakerhead mainstream to pull in Italian shoemakers Del Toro for two each of their timeless Alto Chukka midtops and Basso Wingtop lows. An interesting mix of suede and pony hair along with animal prints ranging from tiger to leopard and a little ‘Cow Camo’ for good measure. Each pair retails for a fairly steep $340, so if more images below suggest the luxurious quality and exclusivity is worth the price, be ready when they go on sale at Kith in Manhattan and online tomorrow at 11am EST.
