Nike’s connections to the University of Oregon have never been more visible, but that doesn’t mean they’ve got a monopoly on the Ducks’ distinctive color palette.  To the contrary, another major player in the running shoe market who has a corporate presence in the Pacific Northwest started off one of their iconic styles with a UO-style getup some two decades ago, and this classic original has just become available for a short time.  This OG Asics Gel Lyte III colorup succeeds with its bold coloring thanks to a fairly modern blocking pattern and that timeless suede/mesh mix old school running fans are after.  SNS has a few sizes so don’t take too long looking, but you can see more photos when you click the jump below.
