Nike Mag “Flux Capacitor” Customs by Mache
September 14th, 2012 by Brendan Dunne | 29 comments

You can always tell that a sneaker customizer has real confidence in their work when they opt to touch up a pair that already has a good amount of inherent value rather than grabbing some outlet outtake. This all new creation from Mache is pretty much the ultimate statement in that regard, touching up the ever-so-coveted eBay only Nike Mag 2011 that was rolled out in charitable fashion just last year. The work done, commissioned by St. Louis Rams cornerback Cortland Finnegan, puts the pair even further to the mythos of the movie; with a flux capacitor design winding around and reflecting the souped up Delorean that let Marty McFly and Doc go back and forth through time on the regular. Click through with us to check out the full shots of this insane custom and let us know if you think it’s an upgrade to the Nike Mag 2011 design.

all the haters= hype
I think he used his own pair of Mags. I dont know anyone dumb enough to have mall airbrush quality work done on a MAG. Plus the art looks ripped off from SekureD's style.
Considering the freeform material on the main body, painting on it takes a ton of skill. Great job!
too far...it's like he put cheesy flames on a Ferrari. leave it alone dude
Mags suck anyway. Parkinson's sucks too but yall acting like he put a bad tat on your girl. The man is talented and if youre hating youre a Super Hyper blue X-Man and you should put your left hand in water and your rght hand in a socket and fry till your hair looks like Doc's.
@Grandiose Go sit at the kids table... smh.
@IgotthatFIREYou gonna give up your seat so I can sit down Rosa Parks? Didnt think so. Ill be in the next room carving the turkey.
I actually rather like these, maybe not as good as the original, but still good!
More proof this douche ma'shitty needs to die of a staph infection. Tie-dyed mags? FUCKING LAME.
Majority of the hate this custom shoe is rceiving is due to the fact that the Air Mag was vitually unobtainable to the masses! But in my opinion, Nike needs to put this guy on their payroll for themed releases!
and this is how an epic pair of shoes is destroyed.
Horrible!!! Ruined a great pair of kicks.
So you fucked up a perfectly good pair of Air Mag's IMO. I guess the ass whooping Andre Johnson put on Finnegan really fucked dude up
I love it. Salute to Mache and the guy who wanted these done!
VERY STUPID IDEA WHO EVER WANTED THIS DONE IS A FUCKIN IDIOT AND WHO EVER DID IT IS MORE OF A FUCKIN IDIOT AND SHOULDA TURNED THE JOB DOWN.
STRAIGHT DISRESPECT TO A CLASSIC SHOE
Damn dudes need to learn how to sketch and use sketchbook pro. Would of saved this kid $5 grand. Or however much he paid for the sneaker. Those are mad ugly and they ruined a iconic sneaker, if i was Michael J Fox i'd personally go to your house, with my air mags on and shove my foot so far up your ass you'd cough out a lung.
@YoureMadLate Lol. Michael J Fox could care less what you do with them after he got his movie for the charity. Lol
Why, God, why?!?
Not bad in my opinion. I would keep mine original but hey...he bought em
personally the original is the best, but you cant say he didnt do a good job.
Polished turd haha. I can't hate they're ok, but..........
ok, 2 reason why i dont like this custom!
1. he changed an iconic sneaker from a movie that didn't need any changes
2. these didn't need a custom job. who ever he did these for wasted them in my opinion
@dopeman978 Most customs are made on iconic sneakers, so why not take that to the next level?
@RichEightyNineWatkins @dopeman978 Because these cost as much as a used car to get
Hum... No
I like it.
NOOOOOOOO!!!!!
