Converse Basketball hasn’t made much noise (not that it’s made much of an attempt) since perhaps it’s most popular endorsee in decades in Dwyane Wade left the brand for Jordan in 2009. However, a first look at the Converse MVP Mid Flywire has been a bright light for Converse, which relies heavily on their heritage models than on its new designs; first off, the funky Foam-like shell upper brings some unique visuals to the shoe, while the Nike-derived Flywire at the toe reveals that Converse is ready is bring in new technology to its designs. Reported first in Asia, the Converse Flywire is now yours for the taking in five colorways directly from Eastbay.

You know where the least effective place to have flywire is? The toe box.
before y'all start trippin' out, Converse is owned by Nike.
