Ah, to be a sneakerhead with disposable income. Nate Robinson certainly fits that bill, and after showing us his eye-catching basketball sneaker rotation and his stash of Air Jordans last week, he’s hit us with another crop of noticeable pick-ups. Air Jordan V ‘T23′, the 2006 DMP, Levi’s x Air Jordan 1 – a veritable list of must-have Air Jordans that most of the public can only dream to have. Why do people hate on athletes? Don't be mad... sneakerheads come in all shapes and status.
Nate is from Seattle and I've been a fan since he was in HS. And he was rocking J's back then at Ranier Beach HS and at UW. Most athletes grow up wanting the Jordans we all want now as adults or todays generation. They aren't any different.. they just now have the money to get what they wanted then. I cop all the stuff I wanted as a kid cus I CAN now and I buy them for my son! 206 stand up! City of Reign.
I don't understand how he lacks passion for Mikes or isn't a "sneakerhead" because he has bread. Honestly, it sound like cats hate on other cats who got money to pay whatever for kicks. That shit is beyond wack. And it's beyond wack to spend your last dime on some shoes. But I can't hate on some one that is papered up with an ill shoe collection, whether they are a celebrity, ball player, or a regular dude with a good job. Truthfully, all this "sneakerhead" talk is kind of weak, I rock Mikes because that's what I choose to do, not because the shit is super hot right now. I really could care less about the next man's shoe game, that shit is kind of gay...

By these shoes I mean OG Js. Not these more recent releases pictured. My point is he's probably an original fan of JB from when they started out. However no one knows for sure, so don't hate

However, also consider he's a baller and bball player. Back when these dope ass shoes were releasin in the 90s, he like myself and anyone else who was old enough to love and play the game at that time was aware of these and probably wanted em to play in. Back then you wanted em to play in b/c Jordan was THE PREMIER player who had the "best" shoes. Him and Penny. You didn't get your desire to buy the shoes from seeing some rapper wear em, and there weren't hundreds of photos of these celebrities and their shoes. People need to reserve their judgement on someone's originality when they have no idea what his motivation was to get these shoes.
In my opinion he isn't a Sneakerhead because if you have alot of money you can just buy them. A Sneakerhead is someone who has a passion and does whatever it takes to get them, even if they have to travel for them and spend their last dime..... He still don't got the Jordan 7 bin 23's or hares tho.

I used to have the Lazer 4's but sold them for a pretty penny so I could feed my kids
