What happens to carbon under immense atmospheric pressure? It becomes the most prized jewel in the world – the diamond. LeBron James’ story sorta follows along the process of carbon to diamond, does it not? James, under worlds of pressure, finally reaches the breaking point and becomes the best in the game, winning a Championship and Gold Medal with all of the fix-ins in between. Today, we get a first look at the tonal black LeBron X of this cycle, and given unique graphic on the medial heel of the shoe, we can only guess that ‘carbon into diamond’ is what Jason Petrie and Nike Basketball colorists had in mind (may we remind you that ’6′ is the atomic number for carbon as well). A detailed gallery is just ahead, so check out this nice twist on ‘Blackout’ below and let us know what you think.
whatever the price, 180...270....315....its still alot of money to pay for a shoe that does not look very good. all the best to anyone buying these, wear what you like!!
The only thing i can say that i really like about this shoe is the triangle with the 6 in it! Each colorway gets a different design to that 6. I like it
Im going to assume that, + models, get the lion lace lock, along with the diamond reverse nike swoosh.
tighten up yall, damn! unless SN is detailing wrong, too many of yall are confused what they are doing between "+" and non"+" models. this plain ass shit! very cool grey-ish. these and those silver/orange janks are the $180? but the jades and wind chills are PLUS?!!
Of all the Lebron X's to have the diamond swoosh, wouldn't these make the most sense? They have a diamond on the side!
i like these but wouldn't go out my way to obtain. These should be a GR CW. IMO every top tier nike shoe should have the + option, the same for all Nike ID's.
these X have very provocative colors, they are really going out, but lets see some limited edition colors
i hope these are general release colors
6 colorways being posted before thee showe is even relesed! ...Too muc h,..Nike is watering the Lebron seres down bigtime with all these colorways smh
@Euyi9 Yupp! Premium details for Premium price
@TheNatural The Jades aren't plus. They are the regular X's
@Lron85 These aren't the plus model...
@Dr Kumar Singh MD I was bout to say da same shit homie... why not have the swoosh diamond on da diamond X... make sense to me
@daniners49 I wish you idiots would pay attention. These are not lebron 10+ so stfu. Retail will be 180$ which is just over 200$ with tax. Stop bing stupid bitches, you can even get lebron 10+ without Nike+sensors for 200$
@DwizzyVelasquez this is a non + version, they dont have the lace lock or the diamond cut swoosh, I wish people stop complaining about the price $200 for the plus with out the sensors, 180 for the plane jane version, I mean u get what u pay for, they are only 270 when u get the whole + set up, but bying a lower version means u get less quality and detail, I look forward to my lebrons shitting on these non+ versions
@Uncle Joe very well stated. not to mention when was the last time you seen a major signature shoe almost complete supported by one of nikes technologies like in lebrons line as oppsed to featuring a tech on his sig. this thing is 85% hyperfuse with a lebron logo on it.
true. respect. i just only like those two for now, and it seems people (up here and in-person convos) are supporting exclusive cw's for dumb expensive shoes. they could release the wind chills as a regular X too, but rite now, nike/jb has me boiling in general.
@ASVPxRVIDXR same shyt im trying to tell people, if they read instead of listened they would understand, this isnt a plus version so all u complainers go have a field day with this one
@DonReadyRay $270, $303 w/tax is over-price, 180-200$ is not, and we all kno barely anybody gon use the + tech so paying a extra $100 for a diamond swoosh and lace lock is not worth it imo
