Pro Football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders is no stranger to the Nike Sportswear retro circuit, but fellow Canton inductee Dan Marino had to wait a first driver’s license to get his most famous trainers brought back to retail. And with today’s more varied releases, it only makes sense to port over a colorway we’ve seen on so many of those Deion Sandals, as the San Francisco 49ers’ red and gold meet up with the Nike Air Max Speed Turf. We can’t help but feel the implication following the recent ‘Cowboys’ colorup, that especially with Miami colorups at an all-time high, a ‘Dolphins’ Diamond Turf style can’t be too far off. But let’s not pull a replacement ref and mistake the matter at hand: the ’49ers’ Air Max Speed Turf was slated to arrive on October 10th but has already touched down at Rock City Kicks.
