Nike Zoom Rookie “Galaxy” – Updated Release Info

Regardless of being more of a consolation prize than a stand-alone must-have shoe, the Nike Zoom Rookie LWP ‘Galaxy’ is a hands-down head-turner. The idea of Galaxy lives on in this Foamposite-based sneaker, and when we first saw it on the feet of Penny Hardaway months back, Penny loyalists went absolutely berserk at the thought of a potential release. It was later spotted on the feet of NSW head-honcho Gentry Humphrey, who then later confirmed a release of the shoe; the confirmed release date is now October 19th with an MSRP of $215 thanks to the ‘Premium’ label, and it appears that it will be available on Nikestore. Will you complete your ‘Galaxy’ duet, hunt for your first, or is the ‘Galaxy’ theme a foregone trend?

In journalism, you need to deliver the 5 Ws...WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE and WHY. As followers of this site we need to know WHO is gonna have them, WHAT the limited amount is?, WHEN are they gonna really come out. WHY they didnt come out the 19 (on due date) and WHERE to get them the REAL ones now if you dont wanna pay 500+ on eBay.
I personally believe that a follow up is a must whenever a sneaker is released or pushed back.
So I just got a tweet from nike saying the release date on these it TBA. Apparently they aren't releasing tomorrow on the 19th either!!!

The custom galaxy theme is played because it doesn't look like the real thing... But these are actually dope & would compliment my foams! So I'm chasing these...
October is going to be crazy. The Cutting Jade X's, Penny V's, a lot of the Kilroy Pack, these, and more.

@CC221 Agree with you %1000 I was so worried about getting it in time I bought the wrong issue and then the real one only for it to say I couldnt get my pair, that thing was crashing so bad!! And what kills me Is that everyone who won instantly put theirs on eBay with biddings minutes after, fuck all of em I WILL COP THESE!!!!
I already have too much galaxy stuff. These are an easy pass.
