This summer’s tradeshow season revealed a collaboration between Vans and Metallica celebrating the 30th anniversary of Kill Em All, but as you might guess based on the insistent tone of that album, these guys don’t just sit around waiting for things to happen.  So the Chicago Bulls of heavy metal pushed it up a year to get in on the 20th anniversary of Steve Caballero’s most famous Off the Wall signature, and the Metallica x Vans Half Cab came to fruition as this month’s Artist Series collab.  This blackout canvas and suede design adds ‘Motorbreath’ lyrics on the sides and album art on the translucent outsole, and is available now directly from the official Metallica site.
