NBA Media Day is upon us, which means we get to see all the off-season player swaps in their new uniforms, sick kicks on feet, and some interesting footwear selections by a certain few. We’ve got the Golden Moments VII, Nate Robinson rocking the Air Jordan III ‘Doernbecher’, and much more, but we’d like to focus on two players in particular – Russell Westbrook, a sneaker free agent wearing the Air Jordan 1 Phat, and Dwyane Wade, wearing a Jordan Brand shoe (the Heat photos were taken before his Jordan Brand officially ended). Is Westbrook the potential replacement for Wade, or did he merely take a pair of shoes out of his own closet for picture day?
