Nike Air Flight One – Black – White | Available
One of the strangest ‘footwear moments’ in Michael Jordan’s career definitely came in 1995, when his kicks were ‘banned’ yet again. If you’ve read up on our Michael Jordan Through The Years segments, you’d already know that the Black/White Air Flight One has its spot in MJ history because he was forced out of his sneakers due to league policy and had no choice but to borrow a pair of kicks from his opponent, Penny Hardaway. Michael swiftly ripped off the ’1′ tab on the heel and rocked the Flight Ones for Game 3 of the ’95 Eastern Conference Semi-finals. These mid-90′s classics made an amazing return earlier this year and continues for the Holiday 2012 season, so cop your Black/White Air Flight Ones now at Foot Locker or on eBay.
Loved these!! Eastbay had them in several colors back in the day. My brother rocked a pair of these that were black with White midsoles. Pretty sick. Been scoouring the internet for alternate old cw's.
I got a lifesized cut out of M.J. shooting a free throw from that game. Odd to see him with anything but a "J" on. I think the shoe is not very pretty though.
