30 years seems like a long enough gestation period before revamping a sneaker design right? The Nike Tennis Classic turned 30 just this year, and is apparently being prepped for a little makeover come 2013 in the form of the above pictured Nike Core Classic. The model maintains the lowcut profile of that sneaker, replacing the traditional leather with a treatment that looks almost Roshe like. Then there’s the backtab, jumping up a few inches in height and sporting perforated Nike branding. Click through with us to check out the first samples of the Nike Core Classic and stay with us to see how these early looks transition into the upcoming retail offerings. Also, if you wanna own them before anyone else then check out the auction from gearsolegoods on eBay.
