Air Jordan IV 2012 Retro Comparison Video
October 10th, 2012 by John K. | 22 comments

The upcoming Air Jordan IV ‘Thunder’ release will make it four total AJ4s for 2012, so why not do a quick recap of all the IVs that dropped in 2012? Joe Venuto copped the Thunders early, so here he presents us with a nice side-by-side (by-side-by-side) comparison of the aforementioned Thunder, the Cavs, the OG White/Red/Black, and the White/Cement. Many call the Air Jordan IV the best of all-time (XI supporters will have their arguments), but with all four beauties sitting next to one another, there’s not much debating the IV as king! The full video is just below so take a look and let us know which of the four you like best (or if the Black Friday Breds are still tops).

Lovin the Cavs got 2Pairs Sweet Homie
Military blues just didn't release this year so sneakernews just left it LOL. how did y'all forget them?
Is this about Air Jordan 4s or Nike Lebron 8s ?
THUNDER !!! THUNDER !!! THUNDERCATS ROARRR. Lmao that has nothing to do with the thunders but cant wait for em
yo str8 up..i LOVE(D) the 4's but man did 2012 really screw up a classic shoe.i just sold all my 4's from this year except the cavs.those white cements, mil.blues and fire reds were terrible man.shoes aint supposed to crease up from just trying them on for size.surprisingly the cavs which are nubuck have held up nice.not a crease yet and i rocked em 3 times .
@CC221 I know right the Cavs ur where made really well no creases what's so ever, and the nubuck is nice as well
he keeps talkn bout "if you're feelin retro"..guess i feel old school almost everyday...
Man thats a freakin tie between bred 11s n 4s I mean I couldnt choose
They really missed the Military blue's..... wow the quality was good. And i agree with the article 4's > 11's. That's just me though and i've owned 4 pairs of 11's.
@Thigh_pillowz I personally like the 4s better. If I had to chose 1 of the breds, it would be the 4s>11s
@erickwright21 I think it just depends on the person. Ive never owned ever jordan 1- 27 (2k12) but ive craked the 1/2 way point and 11s are in my top 5. Theyll just never be 1 or 2. I think the hype makes me not want to place them too high.
@Thigh_pillowz which is why "i personally" But I do agree with you saying the hype kinds of kills it for me to liking em as much as other shoes
They forgot the Military Blues because they were awful. Not even worth mentioning.
@Kip2MyLou They really weren't that bad. I passed on release but picked up a pair somebody returned and they've kinda grown on me.
@BallHard15 They are fine for the first 30 minutes, then the creasing starts. And it's all downhill from there...
@BallHard15 @Kip2MyLou Sneaker @erickwright21 I'll cosign this one. I wear Sneaker Shields in all my shoes. I wore a pair of cement 4's that are 1/2 a size too small for over 12 hours one day and no creasing even formed.
@BallHard15 @Kip2MyLou I put em in all the shoes that will crease (the 4s), they are great
@Kip2MyLou Nahh, get some Sneaker Shields (aka Wearable Shoe Trees) got a 3 pack for 30 something and they work great. Absolutely no creasing on top but over time they crease a bit on the inside part of the shoe. Nobody notices tho. I highly recommend these to anybody who likes there shoes (your welcome Sneaker Shields co. lol). No but foreal they work wonders
Im regretting passing the cavs. Match every Knick and Met outfit and they definately turn heads.
1,2,3,4.. Ah 5. By years end there will be 6. I suck at precalc but I can count for sure lmao
umm military blues? u guys kiddin me
It's funny how the Military IV released this year and neither Joe "love b-grades" Venuto and Sneakernews can't even remember that.
