Yo, Taylor Swift we’re happy for you, and we’re gonna let you finish, but the Air Yeezy was one of the best artist/sneaker collaborations of all time – of all time! Is this the young Miss Swift’s way of firing back at Kanye West, inking her own sneaker deal with retro staple Keds? She’s a name that might not stir up as much interest in the sneaker head community but it’s certainly a smart move for both parties if folks are willing to cop her footwear at the same rate they do her albums. What’s more, the collaboration comes as a cool follow up the Reebok x Alicia Keys deal with sneaker labels finally giving a little more love to the ladies. I think it is a good article. I think as real sneakerheads, we should step out of our comfort zone. Sneakers are not equal to Nike or Jordan shoes, they are just stylish and comfortable shoes we love to wear. If they are nice with reasonable price, I probably will cop a pair for my girlfriend. Why not?
