LeBron James’s first NBA Championship was a long time coming, but the moment finally arrived this past June, and you can best believe that the corks were popping and the champagne was flowing. To further honor King James’s first ring, Nike has whipped up a special edition of the LeBron X featuring a genuine cork material on the upper that has previously not been seen on too many sneaker models outside of the Air Force 1 Bespoke program. In addition to commemorating LeBron’s 2012 NBA title, the “Cork” LeBron X also marks another important first for the Swoosh in that it is the first in a line of upcoming Nike Basketball releases to crossover with Nike Sportswear for premium non-performance versions of their high-profile bball models. We’ve already seen the Kobe 8 Lifestyle, but it appears that the Nike LeBron X “Cork” will beat it to the punch as the first NSW signature model to hit retail when these drop in limited quantities this December. the cork materials gunna fall apart and I hate the red accents. if they were brown and the midsoles were a light tan id be all over these
