The sneaker community is still recovering from the massive release of the Air Yeezy 2, with the prospects of a new colorway still swimming around in the collective mind. While a third Air Yeezy 2 drop will shake things up for the Holiday season, nothing’s been confirmed as of yet. Taking matters into his own hands is custom crusher Mache Customs, who flipped a pair of the original Air Yeezy 2 (presumably the Wolf Grey colorway) to match the quizzical Kobe x Air Yeezy 2. It’s another spot-on product from Mache, with the exception of the Solar Red inner lining (the actual Kobe version has a light purple lining. A full shot of this custom is just ahead so take a look and let us know if this is Mache Customs’ best work yet.
Jordans, lebrons, pennys, kd's, air mags and now yeezy's? Nobody can stop this guy he goes in on all his customs. Much respect an love for mache.
@LobeProductions this dude is by far the best in current time. I used to customize when was a youngin but this guy really pushes the envelope. Much respect
@OGeverything_ For what? He painted an existing shoe in an existing colorway of the same shoe
@svks @OGeverything_ You exactly right SVKS.... all this mofo does is copy cat nike colorways on different kicks. This is an unrealesed sample that oddly enough a few months ago most of sneakernews was laughing at... smdh. Am I really supposed to believe some dum ass gonna pay 20k for some fake Yeezys? Yes I said FAKE, if you cop one colorway and paint it to make it appear to be a EVEN RARER colorway... that shit is FAKE. The most credit ill give this dude is he sure know how to use masking tape. LMAO
@svks @OGeverything_ they came in black, and platinum with wolf gray. I don't know about anyone else but I never saw this color released?
@Fosterakahunter @svks @OGeverything_ guess I missed them. I'll take your word for it. So these are exactly like the sample? Or similar?
@Lilmr81 i agree w/ @svks . I have been a fan of Mâché for years but honestly he did way more creative stuff in his past years. He still drops heat nevertheless. But the vast majority of his very popular sneakers in 2012 are replicas ( maybe with a twist on them). The Kobe Yeezys were exclusives and probably won't release to the public. These are very clean but it is clear to me that he pretty much completely altered the OG suede texture etc :/
