The Vans California Collection has issued Hiker Packs for the Mid Skool 77 (two, in fact) and Sk8-Hi (as well as a ‘Camper’ set for the latter) over the past couple years, and this time around it’s a lowtop that’s called to conquer the mountain.  The Vans California Authentic ‘Hiker’ CA switches from asphalt to rocks in their natural form with ribbed bumpers on the toe and heel (not seen on the earlier ‘Hiker’ drops) to convey a rugged feel like you might expect from a trail boot.  The corded laces offer a twist on the offroad look we’ve seen Off the Wall utilize quite a bit of late, and you can see how they integrate into olive, black and wine suede makeups after the jump below.  These are in stock now at Vans California retailers, so where do they rank on your holiday shopping list?
