In 2006, Nike released the Nike “Fantastic Four” Pack – a quartet of NSW’s most popular models colored up after one of the iconic groups of the Marvel Comics Universe. One of the four members is the slick Human Torch, who was personified by the Air Max 95 with an outstanding gradient colorway of punchy orange and yellow tones in patent leather, but did you know that the original ‘Human Torch’ was a Dunk High? This unreleased sample built with a two-toned orange colorway never made it beyond the sample stages, and instead the Dunk High was the model of choice for Human Torch’s pal Ben ‘Thing’ Grimm’. You won’t find these unreleased samples around much, so check out the gallery below and peep the reasonable price in this listing from strictlydeadstock on eBay.
