Have you already been spoiled by the early looks at 2013′s Air Jordan 1 retros featuring featuring Nike Air on the tongue? Hopefully not, because this Air Jordan 1 High that’s on its way for January won’t feature that little bonus, but otherwise is a pretty spot on remake of the Bulls style colorway that put the sneaker on the map so many years ago. JB is "not looking out for og collectors" by releasing these with the Jumpman on the tongue rather than Nike Air. Please believe that this colorway will release with Nike Air on the tongue down the line when they are re-retroed. JB like any business is about $$$$$$$$$$$$. Why give the consumer/addict everything they want upfront, you need to preserve some things in the stash (e.g. Columbia's, Indigo's, etc) for a "rainy day" so that the consumer/addicts comes back for their next hit.

Why are y'all so mad over a logo? Jordan Brand hasn't been putting Nike Air on a shoe for a good 10-11 years. You would think people would stop expecting it by THEN. And even if it is on the Royal's and Black Toe's it's only on the tongue. The back of the shoe is still a Jumpman. The tongue really does not make a difference at all. Either you like the shoe or not. Don't let a stupid logo stop you from getting what you want. Gosh.
@23kicksfor23chicks I heard there's no jumpman on the back of the black toe. I think most of us wouldn't be so pissed if the jumpman was on all of the new Jordan 1s, but to make some cws with the nike tag and this legendary og colorway with the jumpman is really a bummer!

I'm so happy these are dropping next year. But 19yrs for a re-retro of the Chicago Bull 1's was too long of a wait bc they did retro the Banned 1's 5 times & they even retro the Blue Royal 1's 11yrs. ago. Anyway I already have the Banned 1's & I'm glad I'm gonna have the Blue Royal, Chicago Bull, & Black Toe 1's all in one year. So what these don't have the NIKE BRANDING (I WOULD PREFER IT) they're still classics on gonna end up on my feet.

This is what pisses me off, they put Nike Air on the "Black Toe" & the "royal" but not these. Grrrrrr
i'm gonna cop regardless of the lack of nike air. it'd be nice if that jumpman on the heel were gone but i need 2 pairs of these for sure.

@samgomez85 That's for a few select colorways. I believe the Royals, Black toes, and Knicks will have the "Nike Air" on the tongue. However these will have the Jumpman so people can tell the diffrence between yours with the Jumpman, and my 2 pairs with the original "Nike Air". The homie MJ looking out for those 90's head......Much appreciated!
@Lusinmader Nike & Jordan Brand don't give a rat's ass about the 90 sneakerheads. All they want is our money.
@Lusinmader That's true and I respect that, just wish I could have a chance to own a pair of Jordan 1's in this color with the "Nike Air" logo on the tongue. Could not afford them back then...
