Where does the story of the 2012 ‘Bred’ Air Jordan XI Retro begin? Was it back in March when the suspected Christmastime release was confirmed? Maybe it back in 2009 when the ‘Space Jam’ return started a trend where we now take for granted a holiday visit from the GOAT’s patent-mudguarded masterpiece? Perhaps we should consider that unforgettable 1995-96 season, the postseason closeout and MJ clutching the Larry O’Brien trophy in tears on Father’s Day? Start pulling on a thread and you end up as far down the rabbit hole as February 17, 1963 in Brooklyn, NY, all the way back to the birth of arguably the greatest basketball player in history and the sneaker world’s most luminary figure. So yeah, this isn’t just another ‘Bred’ Retro or simply one more Eleven under your tree, it’s a timeless design with countless memorable moments attached, which you can relive for yourself with more images after the jump.

Saw them already at a mom and pop charging $420 for them smh. The quality is just as wack as the CDP joints. For $420 I'd rather buy an 01 pair or even an OG. Only idiots will pay $420 for em. My fav pair if Sneaker period. I'm sad to see them done up like this.

I thought these were releasing with the White Lining like the OG's....anyway I already know I'm not going to get these, after the Concord release last yr. I vowed to never stand outside for a pair of shoes again. Even though I got the Concords it was just crazy what I had to do to get them. I live in CHICAGO its cold as hell in the winter lol. Plus earlier this year was very upset to find out that the Columbia 11's weren't dropping. These already came out 4yrs ago on X-MAS. Even though I like these & I had them back in 96 when I was 7 I was really expecting to get the Columbia's since those are my favorite 11's & my 1st pair of Jordan's. Plus everybody saying how they gotta connect at FOOTLOCKER or Finishline. Face it everybody's connect is gonna be on dirt that day plus Nike is doing the raffle system for these. Only AJ's I'm getting for the rest of the year are the THUNDER 4 OLIVE 9 COOL GREY 9 & maybe the PLAYOFF 4.
@bfresh89 yeah ur right the columbias r dope n yeah it sucks they arent coming this year but I heard theyre coming next year cuz every year they release a retro 11 in december

I hope one day good quality will come back to jordan brand, for now retail for example in UK is still going to up and quality go to down

Honestly why do we need yet ANOTHER detailed look? You think we don't know what they look like? These online sneaker blogs keep shoving these shoes down our eyeballs only adding tot he already existing hype. The only article you should have on this shoe is a release reminder if anything. Let it rest. This just like yeezy 2. Find something else to blog or dont at all
I'll pass on these for $185. They're not what they use to be. I've got the DMP XIs and the CG XIs so I'm good. But I promised my gf I'd get her a pair (kids size)
