The debate of whether or not Boston Celtics star point guard Rajon Rondo is worthy of his own signature shoe has reached an unofficial conclusion of sorts. A ‘Zoom Rondo’ or any kind likely won’t happen, but you can fully expect him to rock some special PE colorways of Nike’s best non-signature models. If you caught our recent NBA Feet recaps, you would’ve caught Rondo wearing a Lunar Hypergamer Low PE, but here’s a more in-depth look at what else Rondo will be rocking during the 2012-13 NBA Season; an alternate Hypergamer Low as well as two sick Hyperfuse 2012 PEs will be in his rotation, all anchored by his R-NINE-R PE logo on the tongue. I tried on the new Hyperfuse, and while they are definitely better than last year's model, there was a spot in the shoe that kept rubbing the inside of my foot. Damn near rubbed in raw, so unfortunately I had to take them back, but those Lunars look promising. Might look into them.
I seen Rondo rocking these vs the Sixers, they are soooo fly in real life!! I hope they drop...
