When one thinks of the legacy left behind by John Stockton, what images pop up? Is it luxurious python-skin leather in a lush teal, or perhaps an earthy brown suede seen on worker boots? Not really, but this Bespoke design inspired by John Stockton brings an unprecedented level of luxury to the otherwise ‘vanilla’ aura of John Stockton, whose greatness came from unflashy yet effective fundamentals at the point-guard position. This Bespoke by Layupshot combines the aforementioned python-skin and suede with purple perforated leather and white canvas for that Utah Jazz feel (from the rocky mountain jerseys, not the purple/yellow joints), with Stockton’s ’12’ embroidered at the forefoot and his 10 All-Star Game selections noted on the tongue. A gallery of this unique take on John Stockton is right below so give it a look and let us know where these rank among all the other NBA-inspired designs we’ve seen.
