Li-Ning Way of Wade – On-Feet Images

So the verdict is still out on Dwyane Wade’s first signature shoe with Chinese athletics brand Li-Ning, but all it takes is a nice look of them “on-feet” for us to really judge whether or not the Li-Ning x Wade campaign will have any bearing on the U.S. sneaker scene. Dwyane Wade himself rocked the Way of Wade “Dynasty” during an off-the-court moment for a nice frontal and rear-side view, so what are your thoughts? There’s certainly a lot of detail in the shoes, like that sick ‘W’ lacing structure at the base and that padded tongue. Think these two scenarios: you are getting free jordans all the time, even the limited editions for free for the rest of your life, but Nike only pays 5 millions a year; or Li Ning pays you 20 million a year plus their stock option, which means you are pretty much financially free for the rest of your life, even the shoes are ugly themselves. I think any person who's reasonable will easily choose the latter. Also, with LBJ as his teammates, don't you think D-Wade can just ask him to get an extra of any Nike/Jordan shoes he wants?
Besides, have you seen the previous D-Wades models from JB? They suck too. Probably Jordan brand wants to get rid of D-Wade because his shoes can't sell. Simple choice.
