We’ve seen sneakers get a horror inspired makeover plenty of times before, with Freddy Krueger being a frequent muse in that realm. Leaning more towards the campy side is this Nike Air Foamposite Pro ‘Evil Dead’ custom, calling upon that classic slasher flick with its gory graphics. Along with the blood splatters and “Evil Dead” hit across the back, the sneaker slides in a crazy chainsaw gear look around the carbon fiber plate as a tribute to main character Ash’s weapon of choice. 1 of the coolest customs i've ever seen.
The chainsaw is so well done, and the splatters also look very real.
And the custom isn't overdone as most are.
This is simple and beautiful, just like they should look.
I give this a 10 out of 10

Okay now that we voted for president and vp of U.S.A, can we vote for new design team at Nike? The end of the year is supposed to be the best work. I thought you supposed to finish strong. Go all out in the fourth quarter. Nike, as a sneaker head, I'm not seeing creativity in the designs and a lot of weak output lately... Maybe this means 2013 will be crazy heat but something has to change in those Nike offices... This again is my opinion!!! Peace...
For the record, I do know that these are a custom sneaker. But when a person can customize a sneaker and its still lame, then the original shoe was lame.
@Bigga Wow, that's very poor logic.
Anyhow, the foamposite is great, hype or no hype. Revive did a pretty good job on these, too. The chainsaw is a nice detail.
@Bigga @OregonGrey Fair enough. By "original shoe was lame," I thought you were criticizing the Foamposite itself just because someone was able to botch a custom job on them. I'm not a fan of the gym green colorway either.
@OregonGrey agree the foam posites are great sneakers but this color way was not the best and niether was this custom but then again beauty is in the eye of the ......
