Yesterday’s update of the Kobe VIII in the Black/Yellow colorway provided a clear view of the outer shell of the Kobe VIII, but what Eric Avar has focused on is the inner workings of the shoe that has made it one of the most popular and oft-used basketball sneakers in history. We’ll start with the tongue, which showcases the mamba snake encapsulating the Shozoku logo above calculated perforations to make the shoe as light as possible. The insole is what reveals the most; it’s built with LunarLon, giving the Kobe VIII an unprecedented bouncy cushion that Lunar has never failed to produce, and the indented markings like the System logo on the bottom may point to a return of the interchangeable ‘Fast’ and ‘Strong’ arrangement. There’s plenty more to see so enjoy this detailed gallery of the Kobe VIII below and be sure to stick with Sneaker News for all updates regarding the upcoming launch of the Kobe VIII.

the people who saying that these grown on em were the same people who violently reacted and said they were never gonna get these when these first came out. excuses. smh
they have grown on me i want to see them in person tho or the final official product. and i thought the 8's had a system too.. wonder if they scrapped it.
damn funny if Nike is just messing with all of us and these are next years dodgy China only kicks and the real super innovative Kobe 8's are still under wraps.... we can only hope
They lack any innovation imo. I feel the VI has been his best. I'm sure the Chistmas c/w will be a hit. After that idk. I think Nike is giving the KB line the '' twilight'' treatment due to his age. I see money going into the KD line in the future. I will pretty much pass on the VIII except for Christmas.
like the potential with EM..great on lunarglide..just not sure it will be good for hoops. the home version is going to bet pretty dirty fast..wanna see xmas cw...is this lifestyle or the on court..i hope the former!
i like em, will cop for basketball. im still using the 5 which i think is the best basketball shoes ever!, these look like they can be great to, although doesnt look like they will last as long but i still like there minimalistic look.
these are hideous! Kobe is my fav player but I don't know what he was thinking when he approved these. Nike better not put a $140 price tag on this garbage.
NO FLYWIRE?! NO ZOOM AIR?! HARD TO CALL THIS A KOBE SHOE! It better be the most comfortable shoe to play in EVER!
I hope they play just like the V's because those were nice, BUT... need more colorways to make finally judgement
they didnt.. its 150.00
@truthBtold__ The cushion set up uses inserts im sure there will be multiple ie the Jordan 2012 so im sure we will see a zoom option as well
