Following our recent preview of the 2013 Air Jordan 1 Retro packaging is yet another look ahead in the same vein, this one showing off what the Air Jordan V’s box will look like for next year. The box features a cement style speckling on the bottom half with the black box-lid that folds up just like the original boxes used in originals. So does closet collectors sell b grades or real shoes cuz been hearing some crazy stuff on YouTube n Nike talk bout his site n him with fake stuff but am not sure if true or not any one here know for sure

@Da_Real_Big_Infinite When I said "select retros" I obviously meant the other retros that will release next year not the Retro V. I'm not that stupid to think only one Retro V will get a Retro box! So what are you talking about?
To stop all of the "WHY THE CEMENT PRINT ON THE BOX TALK" Back in 1990 Michael Jordan's Playground was being filmed & to go with the theme of the Air Jordan 5 Line Nike decided to use the Cement print as a representation of ground on the PLAYGROUND courts. Its also when Nike created the whole FLIGHT CLUB MEMBERSHIP, at the time Air Jordan's (4-7) were considered apart of the FLIGHT SERIES of Nike Basketball shoes.

Jordan Brand now needs to increase their f*****' shoe supply cuz now almost all J's end up on eBay smfh. Can't even cop from my favorite online shoe stores anymore smfh...

First box and Jordan I ever had the privelage to own as a kid. It will be a nostalgic moment the day I open up these bad boys for a second time!!! I can't believe all the kids on here that don't realize that these aren't alternative boxes. They're retros of the originals. Come on man!!
why cement?????
@Magneto78 u ever had the originals. Its just a theme, cement has nothing to do with it. The metallic 5's have speckles on them and not considerd cement. Same for the box

even though this is identical to the OG box. I'm still not sure why this box was considered even when made back in 90-91
lol i just pointed this out yesterday. for someone like me, this is great because i love nostalgic things. a box might not mean much to some of u, but it adds to a great product. I know for the 3s and 4s those boxes were awesome.
don't get me wrong, I love alternate boxes but this box looks alot like the box for the 4s and theres not even any cement on the 5s. that just confuses me.
@SneakerGenisus for you kids that don't know why they're using this box: this is the original box that the og jordan 5-7 came in.
