November 16th, 2012 by Brendan Dunne | 9 comments

The ‘Infrared’ look as sported by the Nike Air Max 90 is one that sneaker lovers can’t pass on too often, with the newest one serving up something a little different via the Nike Air Max 90 VNTG. Pictured here is the Nike Air Max 90 VNTG ‘Infrared’, a pair that actually might be hitting retailers sooner than you think. Overseas spots like Afew are launching them December 20th, 2012, with a US release date hopefully landing somewhere around there as well. Very nice. Definitely a top ten for the year.
Best sneaker of 2012, period
These are the poor man's infrareds. I'm gonna bring out a pair of 2010 DS just to troll these.
Actually, in this case all "Vintage" means is that they didn't paint the midsole white (which they started around 2002). They left the foam raw, just like they did back in the day. Pro: No paint cracking. Con: They get dirty easier and are impossible to clean. Be careful what you wish for.
Thoughts these were dropping next year? *sidenote* that dude in the pic really needs to throw on a pair of socks...
Is that dud tight rolling his jeans? That is also pretty vintage.
@maxlar1125 Great comment! LOL
so vintage means the sole is uniformly yellow and everything else is new. lol
@Big_Infinite Haha seriously man.. Atleast make the mudguard like the originals; I hate all of the retros for that sole reason.
