Nike Kobe VIII “Lakers” – Purple – Yellow

Things are looking up for the Los Angeles Lakers since they shook things up with an unexpected name as their new head coach, and soon their on-court leader will have a nice burst of momentum from a brand new signature release.  This new Nike Zoom Kobe VIII is the most complete Lakers colorway we’ve seen to date (unless you count the ‘Scales’ multicolor design that could accommodate just about every team in the league).  They appear poised for away games with the black midsole, heel and tongue area and prove that even the less conceptually driven ZK8s offer some serious state-of-the-art complexity.  Let us know what you think about the evolution of the Zoom Kobe series’ textures and graphics over the past few years and stick with Sneaker News for all the Zoom Kobe 8 release dates.
