Nike Air Max 1 “Old Skool x New Skool” Customs by JWDanklefs
November 20th, 2012 by John K. | 5 comments

The best-known sneaker customizers have established a bread-and-butter sneaker of choice, but JWDanklefs, whose works that don’t pop up as frequently as the Maches and El Cappys, pretty much has a hold on Air Maxes. His last ‘Leatherback’ Air Max 90 were neckbreakers and his Questlove joints were incredibly well-done, but this time he comes with a slightly more original design – a mix of ‘Old Skool’ and ‘New Skool’ on this Air Max 1. He adopts the colors from the original Nike Trainer boxes with the orange upper and white/silver diagonal stripes on the midsole and adds a re-born trend of Elephant print on the upper. We can’t overlook the embroidered Swoosh at the forefoot – a detail that comes along once in a blue moon. These customs, done for customer Stevey Ryder, are available for viewing below, so take a look and let us know what you think.
