adidas’ recent Blue collection is the closest we’ve come in recent years, both in terms of familial ties and questionable planning, to the kind of model name specificity demonstrated by these two classic Puma lowtops. Instead of just giving this T-toed, gum-soled low a standard name, different versions were dubbed Puma Red Star and Blue Star for their respective suede uppers, the kind of thing you’re likely to never see again given how many more colorways we’re blessed with these days. These were made in Germany (the originals famously from the now defunct democratic West) have a nice ‘unifying’ subtext with the December 8th release exclusively at Berlin’s Solebox, so have a closer look below and let us know how they compare to earlier Shadow Society drops.
