watching the thunder vs nets game, i cant front, these 28s look good on feet zipped up. but i see them unzipping as westbrook plays in them, which could be a problem if they unzip as the feet move
I think some of the features of the shoe are good. Just a few things Tinker said I have issues with. When he said basketball players are more like sprinters, the Zoom Kidd 5 was designed with a sprinter spike in mind. If a shoe is designed well enough the Heel should not slip at all. That is was a heel counter is supposed to do.

My opinion, All the Air Jordan XX8s need are spikes at the bottom and they'll be called the Under armour Highlight Cleats.
Folded down, they look nice. That whole zip-up thing? No.
I think these are dope but that damn zipper sleeve is killing. its just to big. why couldnt they keep it mid cut?
Was Jordan Brand jealous of Under Armor's ugly high top sneaker? These suck no way around It and I bet retail will be around $250 or more.

@damruff You do realize these have been in development for over a year? Unlike AU's shoe this shoe can go from high to low top. AU's is just a high top. Plus this marks the progression of one shoe suitable for all positions. Unlike previous models you don't have all the interchangeable parts. No need to change out a booty, just zip the shroud up or down. Not the prettiest Jordan, but its definitely innovative.
@Steelo_Brown @damruff Who cares if these have been in development for over a year they still look terrible to me. I do play basketball but no way would I pay $250 for these, once they hit outlets if the price drops to $100 I'd try them out on court because of the technology but I'm not going out of my way to get these.

Should have stopped at XX3. I mean these are horrible. Maybe great performance wise, but to the eye, TRASH. Whoever designed the Lebrons needs to assist Tinker and co.
@dsuaveallday the LeBrons didn't start looking good until the 7 and haven't looked good after the 8

@TruthSays you do realize one of those old white guys designed the j's you hold so close to your heart. And what does the fact their white have anything to do with designing a shoe? Do I love the shoes? No! I don't ball anymore so I could care less about performance. Are they innovative? Yes! Ugly innovation at that. But I remember people calling the Jordan xiii's ugly when it was unveiled too.

So that means you cant wear the 9s then since mj retired by that time,also you cant wear anything from 15-23 (excluding 17s and 18s)

@BoricuaSole never was a fan of the 9's until the recent release of the Motorboat Jones'. Retros are just timeless to me. The new stuff is trash
