There’s a reason why the hottest sneaker detail out right now is indeed the glow-in-the-dark outsoles and uppers. It’s synonymous with one of the best sneaker releases of the year and the fact that Nike’s used it so sparingly makes it all the more desirable. While ‘Glow’ hasn’t been as common as we’d like, sneaker customizers have gone ham with it, as seen here with AF1King’s ‘Spaceman’ customs of the LeBron 9. He opts for full Glow on the outsole, laces, Swoosh, and even on the speckling on the upper to create that starry night sky appeal.
