The Nike Dunk High took a bit of a backseat in 2012 as older brother Air Force 1 celebrated a huge milestone with tons of heat, but finishing off the year with a super-limited collaboration suggests good things to come for this Swoosh basketball pillar. Bringing along a Japanese brand whose black/white stylings have previously graced Converse and Vans collaborations, this Dunk High Premium two-pack by mastermind JAPAN plays with glossiness and makes its presence obvious with huge heel branding. They’ll be on sale at select Japanese retailers this Saturday; does this kind of collabo have what it takes to make an impact on the US market as well?
