The moment the Air Jordan XX8 was revealed last Monday, the discussions regarding the unprecedented $250 price-tag heated up quickly. Here’s a first look at what will house the $250 sneaker – a far cry from the massive, multi-tiered box used in the Air Jordan 2012; it mixes the Air Jordan 2011 box (larger, top-folding box lid) with the Air Jordan XI Retros of years past (a slide-out encasing) for a sleek design that shouldn’t take too much space in your sneaker closet (should you choose to cop). the only thing i'm worried about this shoe is when ya zip them all the way up either it wont be stretchy enough for legs or they wont stay up. cuz i wanna rock them zipped up & zipped down

@Mr.CinderSix's not really over pricing if you think about it. by adding the "flight plate", the other carbon fiber, the zoom air surrounded by foam that stuff costs money. plus the dust bag aha
nice. screw all the haters im copping a pair but only if i can use my employee discoubt cause i wouldnt pay retail for em its a bit too much hell i wouldnt even pay retail for the half assed retros that come out nowadays but it seems like a lot of ya would smh at least these will have quality built into it and last unlike everything else jb drops. ya willing to drop $185 plus tax on the xi dropping with shit quality which amazes me
@Dezfriednutz Y'all keep talking bout "Shit Quality", but I take care of my kicks, and all the recent retros I've copped are holding up perfectly. I don't know what exactly you expect; the shoes weren't made in bronze...
The insoles are missing, which makes me wonder if there's a choice like the 2011s. I know Tinker likes those Nike field boots, but I wish he didn't bring that look to a Jordan. BTW, does anybody know what happened with that planned retro of the The Gloves? GP was taking about it and it didn't happen. Kind of funny that these show up now.

@jwjumpman736 @KevinLo1 just because there's a zipper on the shoe doesn't mean tinker took the design of the Glove and applied it to the XX8.
