It was Spike Lee who originally uttered those words in reference to the Air Jordan, but we’re posing that question this time around in reference to this year’s 30th birthday sneaker the Nike Air Force 1. Complex has whipped up 30 forgotten facts about this classic design, compiling their ’30 Things You Didn’t Know About the Nike Air Force 1′. A couple quick hits from the group: the initial design had a steel shank plate, they were the first basketball sneaker to feature Nike Air, and it was the first sneaker to feature a pivot point.
