Sports plays an integral role of providing entertainment – even during the most trying times. After Friday morning’s horrible events in Newton, CT, the NBA maintained its regular gaming schedule, but with pre-game tributes to those affected by the tragedy. Kevin Durant, LeBron James, and many NBA players wore sneakers with inspirational notes for the Newton residents, offering up one of the most respectful NBA Feet features of the year. Going back to business, a number of other players broke out some noteworthy pairs, like Nick Young’s Nike Zoom Kobe 1, Jordan Hamilton’s Nike KD V iD, P.J. Tucker’s Nike KD V ‘DMV’, Derrick Williams’ Air Jordan XX3, and another look at Kobe’s ‘Away’ Kobe 8. Flip through the gallery below for a great recap of this weekend’s best NBA Feet moments and stay tuned to Sneaker News for the best coverage of on-court NBA kicks!

That's crazy Kobe used to rock Jordan's when we would match up against MJ, so it's nice to see the younger guys have respect for Kobe & them to wear his sneakers when they match up against him! Has to be an honor... I would say the same for Lebron... Buuuut it just ain't the same! Lol
