Nike KD V “Area 72″
December 20th, 2012 by Brendan Dunne | 15 comments

It looks like this year’s pack of All-Star sneakers from Nike Basketball will not be a straight forward reprisal of the ‘Galaxy’ theme. Some new shots just popped up of the Nike KD V from the group, with the most recent angles suggesting a sort of alien-theme thanks to the “Area 72″ logo stamp on the inside. This little detail also puts the possible ASG release of the Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Fighter Jet’ in better context, that sneaker perhaps representing the military forces guarding the secret base of Area 72. Check out the shots after the jump and tell us if you like how the Nike KD V ‘Area 72′ is shaping up.

Nike was founded in 1972 thats why the base is called area 72 smh
SMH... you kids need to learn the history before you respond... Actually, Blue Ribbon Sports was founded in January of 1964, then officially became Nike in May of 1978, The first time the Swoosh was used was in 1971... SMH... So Now what's Area 72..
