Air Jordan 5 “Grape”

The words that can summarize the Grape V surfacing yesterday after two days of gut-busting Retro releases: “Well, that escalated quickly”. Arguably the most popular OG Air Jordan V is indeed making a comeback in April of 2013, but this second multi-angle look at these succulent Jays only remind us of one of the most entertaining sneaker rumors in recent years – the Grape/Laney Pack; that rumor is all but squashed, but with Jordan Brand flirting with a ‘Pack’ in 2012, can we really count it out? It’s likely that these will release on its own, so leave a comment answer both of these questions: 1) is the Air Jordan V ‘Grape’ the best Air Jordan V of all time, and 2) are you still hoping for a Grape/Laney Pack?

The red suede, Raging Bull 5's are the best Jordan 5's of all time. Grape's, Laney's and Black Tongue Fire Red's are all top three candidates.

A laney/grape pack would be one of the few Jordan packs that I would actually like both pairs. Will the pack release? I highly doubt it. But I'm still very happy that the grapes are coming out at a time that these colors are highly trending in fashion. Back in 2006 these colors weren't a fashion trend, so that's why I think they stayed on racks back then.

@the_realJhall @Shaded I'm an adult and been in the sneaker game for a long time now. So I'm not here to call other people names, i post here to talk about shoes. If you are a sneaker collector from the 90s and early 2000s then from our point of view it is F'd up. But for most high school kids and teenagers/early 20s Jordan shoes are just a fashion trend now. Like all generations, times change. Our generation of the sneaker game has gone and past us. There is a new breed of "sneaker game" now. We can call them whatever we want (hype beast), but the truth is Nike is marketing more towards their crowd and fading slowly away from our generation of the "sneaker game".

I remember back in Sept. 2006 I was a Junior in High School Only 2 kids in the school had these, I remember this being the only time around that time that people actually rushed to the mall early in the morning & stood in line for them. I will definitely be copping these....of course now bc I have my own money.
Sure, release the "pack", I wanna see how much it will sell for and people will like a pair and hate the other pair..., or maybe people will like both pairs! :D

I highly doubt there'll be a grape/laney pack but if I grab either (I might not depending on how the quality feels) it'll be the laneys which are alot better IMO

red lace lock reminds me of the independence day 5s but these are looking pretty good, the purple got kinda darker but not a mayor change. still gone cop.
