Vans’ various silhouettes are no doubt some of the sneakers most touched up on a personal basis, with footwear enthusiasts worldwide taking sharpies and painbrushes to their pairs for decades now. Vans is well aware of this and has decided to celebrate once again this year with the Vans Custom Culture celebration, wherein high school’s register to compete in a custom-sneaker competition with a $50,000 grand prize and a trip to NYC at stake.
