Nike LeBron X “Cork” – Release Date
January 1st, 2013 by Brendan Dunne | 64 comments

Following that selective rollout this weekend, the Nike LeBron X ‘Cork’ finally has a real release date for the general public. On top of that it’s got a beautiful set of official images that you have you lusting over the sneaker at new levels. The Nike LeBron X ‘Cork’ is set to be a trailblazer for the way it re-appropriates the high tech basketball sneaker into more of a lifestyle shoe via the Nike Sportswear label, reworking the materials and construction in doing so. Get the full look at the Nike LeBron X ‘Cork’ in our HD gallery and be advised that the release date is set for Saturday, February 23rd, 2013.

Where can I cop these?
these are waaay tooo expensive. Maybe under 200 I would buy hahaha
everyone stfu, these are general releases, so good luck reselling em.
@Buster_Himen lol who did you hear this from? because either you and/or your source is an idiot. the corks are gonna be the most limited lebron shoe ever sold, right up there with yeezys and galaxys
Both of u are just idiots. BUSTER, & John Garrity, yeezy & galaxy's were not the most limited shoe Nike ever released. It was the hypebeasts that made it seam that way. Plenty of times stuff came out, 1-2 size runs at HOH Harlem. This will not be a GR. good luck getting them. U both just sound so stupid.
@JohnGarrity @Buster_Himen honestly I think this is nike test shoe to see if $300 for a shoe at wide release will sell out
What is the price on these?
@Jay_TarHeel 305
I wouldnt mind getting these, they are like no other shoe.
I want these but not because of the hype. I think it's a dope shoe (nothing I've seen before). And I have 2 other pair of LeBron Xs. But I'm not camping out, paying over retail, or losing sleep over these
This is strictly a reseller shoe. Nike keeps emphasizing the shoe is NOT for athletic use. Get real people, if the shoe is made of cork, its going to massively crease and crack with normal wear and foot sweat. But hey, if I get my hands on a pair and folks are dumb enough to pay my price, oh well! lol.
@ZoOYoRkR its already been said that the shoe was not for performance, its meant to be worn casually. I'm sure the shoe won't fall apart off a person foot from normal wear. And wear some socks if ur worried about sweat, LOL
@erickwright21 @ZoOYoRkR you really think this "cork" material is going to hold up with casual wear when Jordan Brand cant keep the paint on the 3's or 4's from cracking on the mid sole? They're good looking shoes but I dont know how theyre going to hold up with wear
@Joe_Jang @ZoOYoRkR you shouldn't even compare LeBron Xs to Jordans, especially the paint on some 3s & for 4s on the midsole, the shoe is still wearable it just has cracks in them. If your gonna compare these to anything compare it to another LeBron X. True its cork, but just take care of it as others would do with suede, leather, etc. Type of shoes, they dnt have to be sneakers. So to answer your question, yes they will hold up. I have shoes from 2006 that are still wearable
Hope these come out as a low in the spring. They say these are for casual wear, then why make them extra high tops.
I feel like the kool aid man right now! OH YEAHHH!
Im not sure why these are drawing so much hype. there nice but i dont wanna own them.... ehh o well
the only X's im even considering getting... and my birthday is in feb so ill be saving all the money i get
wow, $300 for these are worth it...wonder how many pairs made in total!

Im only going to buy these if they are limited. They re-sell for over $2000, so i will get some. When they riot for these, how many in the US do you think will get killed for them by the poor african american folks. I reckon at LEAST 17 victims over these SHOES. Gonna be fun trying to cop. Im camping out NOW! (lol)
@caseyflinders The African American's are the ones that are going to kill other's for these? So..., where do you reside?
do us all a favor and kill your fucking self
@caseyflinders You sound a little bitter at life, a sad troll. Since you like to research so much check out "Hidden Colors" its even on Youtube it will change your day I promise.
@caseyflinders was that an attempt to be funny?
@caseyflinders what the fuck
For the price, they should come with a bottle of good wine.
lebrons x: garbage, all of them. goodluck with resellers hyperbeasts
My 1st pair of lebrons ever if i can get em
stfu all you people that act like they aren't going to cop. These will probably be the best shoes of the year, and the quality I heard is outstanding. All of you are going to be running around like a chicken with no head once these drop.
@SneakerHead1004 I wanna see everyone RIOT! Screw anyone that gets in your way!
need 5 pairs just to resell lollllll
@OtegzTegzTegz u are whats wrong with the industry
@phillybis @OtegzTegzTegz what industry this is what capitalism is about supply and demand. I can buy as much pairs as i want are you going to stop me?
@OtegzTegzTegz @phillybis not saying you dont have the right to, but your ruining it for many people out there. its kinda like driving a car. you have the right to everything about it. but it would be so much better to ride a bike for short distances instead of polluting everything haha
@OtegzTegzTegz @phillybis messing up the game homie
@OtegzTegzTegz fag
@OtegzTegzTegz I'm getting 10! ....@ $2K a piece. Gonna buy me a Mercedes Benz after!
Considering the materials used to make this shoe I wouldn't expect it to be under 270$ but sheesh lol
Not a fan. Maybe its the White mid soles
Stop tryn to hype these Wack ass shoe up nike!
@J crack thank u
@J crack I think you mean Sneakernews. Nike dont need to publicise ANY of their releases. And they DON'T. Same as there has been a post a day for the "RETURN OF NIKE AIR!!!!"
@J crack Exactly!!!!!!
Should of droped these new years... still pretty fine looking shoe but i rather buy 2 kicks with that money
The only Lebron X that I want. Not only is it overpriced, but garunteed overhyped as well. Great job Nike •_•
@Tennessee1257 You act like you are selecting something that is over-priced, which would mean that others are not? ALL Nike is overpriced. All their factories are off-shore in Asia. Paying kids $1 a day to make them for you. If they cost $25 a shoe to make, they sell them to you for $190, you don't think they are overpriced... but if they cost $25 and sell them to you for $305, they ARE now? All Nike is over-priced. Support NB who are struggling to support YOUR American workers, by making shoes in factories IN AMERICA. Probably costing them $70 to make a shoe they then sell for $130. Is THAT over-priced? Otherwise they too will go off-shore to Asia. And it won't be long till China RULES US ALL.
@caseyflinders @Tennessee1257 nerd
@phillybis @caseyflinders Thanks for the compliment.
@caseyflinders get off my nuts. It's obvious that you didn't understand the comment that I clearly stated the shoe is over priced and over hyped, emphasis on "OVER HYPED." I know how much the manufacture to sale ratio is overly inflated. Who doesnt know that ALL Nike products are overpriced?! Therefore take head of what's called sarcasm which is what my comment is. "What you trying to kick knowledge? F@ck outta here!!" - Sean Carter
@caseflinders And FYI, only a small percentage of New Balance shoes are made in the good ol US of A. They're mostly safety toed shoes and work shoes. Do your homework rookie
