The Air Jordan III is proof; a tenured veteran whose legacy is well chronicled, who ten years ago demonstrated that the Jumpman it debuted all the way back in 1988 had surpassed even ‘Nike Air’ when it came to basketball supremacy. A quarter-century after Tinker Hatfield’s first Air Jordan debuted, the Three gets back to the original branding with the ‘White Cement’ colorway dropping in February. that is so bogus.. how are they the "O.Gs" when they lack all the original design(s) ? no nike on the bottom ? They're clearly not OG's. Like we see the jumpman logo we all know they are, air jordans. Jordan brand need to come on with it and stop bs'n. We are going to spend the money give us what we want.

@Umrickjames u do realize all these J's that dropped in the earlier 2000's alot of those went from nike to jordan on the bottom and nike on the insole to the jumpman on the insole. Lots of jordan 2's did it but no complaint & their considered close to OG. Lots of j's during that time placed a jumpman the insole still close yo OG but as soon as the newer retros do it, its not fine but clearly the past retros could. Now thats BS
i know nothing about shoes or the sneaker game, but is it me or the 03s look like they we're made with way more quality? the retros look cheap
Don't let jb gas you to buy deez yo...they been releasing these to many times ..but for the people that have missed out u should get them but whoever buys these and already got the 2011 version your just excited fam don't let jb fool ya just because the nike airs at the back.

Why are people even hyped for these 'Nike Air' retros. The reason the Nike branded jordan joints are so sought after is the OG quality. They can slap anything on the back of these shoes but that don't mean anything if the quality is still shit.

What nobody seems to notice is that they changed the air unit from yellowish/ white to grey. Which i absolutely don't like. They also didn't change the jordan to the original nike on the bottom. So they're still just a changed up version and still not 100% orgiginal. Hate nike for this mindfcuking
@84 There only "yellowish/white" because of the effects of oxidation, due to age and handling during storage. They're simply old and that's why the air unit on the 2001's are yellowish/white. They were white and extra crispy like the 2013's when I first bought my 2 pairs (I still have one pair left in DS condition). I've had the '01's since day one. Sneaker news misquoted them and said 2003, but they actually dropped in 2001! Sneakernews needs to fact check and proof read their posts before listing them.
@Sincere @84 Actually they have the year right the white cement 3's did retro in 2003 and the black cements retroed again in 2001 the last nike air white cement 3 was in 1994.

@boodle81 @84 I'm not trying to argue, but the white/cement III's were only retro'd in '94, '01 & '11. There was never an '03 retro. I know my B.I. when it comes to these bad boys.

@Sincere @84 if im not correct the white midsole on the 03s wasnt painted on like the 11 and the 13 only the black they changed the way they made all shoes because of the yellowing
@inTheNameofQuen @84 You're right, but 84 was talking about the "air unit". However the mid-sole on the '01's were still pretty crispy.
@84 Don't worry Homie, Nike gonna release this 3 again in 2014 with "Nike" on the bottom sole & the Heel.. Just to another reason to make more money...

They might have the "Nike Air" on the back, like the '88 & '94 Retro's... But one thing they won't have in common with those two is the price tag...
